Brent Simmons likes his new privacy policies:
Neither ranchero.com nor inessential.com use any cookies or JavaScript, and they do not display any ads. I wish there were a clever marketing name for no-cookies/no-JavaScript sites. It should be a trend.
While the industry is focused on SSL everywhere, we’re not looking at the other half of surveillance tech.
I’d also like to mention that fonts hosted by third parties like TypeKit and Google are also a way to track you and your visitors across the Web.
This is why I use self-hosted fonts on my sites if I’m not using preinstalled fonts like Verdana, Segoe UI, and San Francisco.
